I am sure my grandmother is very pleased with the dignity and care given for her final goodbye. The celebration was uplifting and flawless and my family and I will be forever grateful.

Bonnie Loraine Ashbaugh, 89, of Cox's Creek, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was born in Bullitt County and spent most of her life in Nelson County. Along with her husband, they owned and operated Quincy Ashbaugh Trucking, and were farmers. She was also an employee of Kroger for 32 years, and a member of Riverview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Amp and Myrtle Evans Mudd; her husband, Quincy Ray Ashbaugh; her sister, Mary Catherine Phelps; three brothers, Robert, Ivan, and James Mudd; along with a grandson, Tony Roby. Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Dottie McNeil (Bob) and Donna Roby (Bobby); her grandson, Timothy Roby (Paula); three great grandchildren, Quinton, Taryn, and Hunter Roby; along with a sister, Alice Mudd. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorial gifts are suggested to Riverview Baptist Church.
