I am sure my grandmother is very pleased with the dignity and care given for her final goodbye. The celebration was uplifting and flawless and my family and I will be forever grateful.

David William Mattingly, 60, of Mount Washington, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. David was a native of Louisville, a retired employee of LG&E, and an avid car collector. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Glazebrook Mattingly; along with a brother, Marc Mattingly. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Riley Mattingly; two children, Bradley W. Mattingly and Leslee Pruitt (Justin); three siblings, Cheryl Quiros (Manfredo), Lynn Hand, and Darren "Butch" Mattingly (Melissa); his father, William Mattingly; along with two grandchildren, Ashton and Wyatt Pruitt. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus.
