I am sure my grandmother is very pleased with the dignity and care given for her final goodbye. The celebration was uplifting and flawless and my family and I will be forever grateful.

Donald Lee Morgan, 86, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at his home. Don was a retired employee of Raymond Construction, and most recent a retired employee of McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. He was very active in his community, serving 50+ years as a member of Bloomfield Masonic Lodge #57, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, a 50+ year member of the Mt. Washington Lions Club, a Kentucky Colonel, as well as a member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington, and a proud U.S. Airforce veteran. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jo Hardin Morgan; his parents, Vivian Lee and Madge Morgan, stepmother, Lona W. Green, whom raised him; and a brother, Rollin Cole Morgan. Don is survived by his wife, Renee' Morgan; along with a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington with burial to follow in Highview Cemetery, Chaplin, KY. Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church. We would like to thank Don's caregivers, Hosparus, and personal friends that came to us in this time of need. Memorial gifts in Don's memory may be made to First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington or Kosair Shrine Temple.
