My family and friends were please with the exceptional service we received from a very professional and considerate staff. Everything was organized and well presented. I don’t think my mother could have asked for a better service.

Jack W. Kendrick, 91, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019. Jack owned and operated the old Kendrick Brothers International Harvester dealearship in Mt. Washington, and was a World War II Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pauline Barnett Kendrick; a daughter, Jackie Theis; his parents, Monte and Ida Denny Kendrick; brothers, Harold, Waldo, Monte, William, Teddy and Milton Kendrick; and sisters, Caroline Lockwood and Janet Kleinstuber. He is survived by five children, Monna Jean (Brett Rogers), Stephen (Terry), David, Michael, and Philip Kendrick; two sisters, Betty Arnold and Delores Decamillis; along with six grandchildren, Travis, Whitney, Lee, Michael, Jared, and Caroline; and one great granddaughter, Taylor Theis. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday. Memorial gifts are suggested to Hospice of Nelson County.
