I am sure my grandmother is very pleased with the dignity and care given for her final goodbye. The celebration was uplifting and flawless and my family and I will be forever grateful.

Kenneth Wayne Pugh, 68, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Norton Audubon Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. Kenny was a retired employee of General Electric, a member of the Mt. Washington Lions Club, a Kentucky Colonel, and a faithful member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was a member of Salt River Masonic Lodge #180 and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Anna Peacock Pugh; and a brother, Jerry Pugh. Kenny is survived by his wife of 39 years, Betty Sue Roby Pugh; his daughter, Kendra Slinker (Tim); two brothers, Jackie (Marlene) and Greg (Karen) Pugh; one sister, Brenda Forshee (Russell); along with two beloved grandchildren, Easton and Mina Slinker; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday. A masonic service will be 7 p.m. Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to his church.
