Lexie Lee Rothman, 79, of Mt. Washington, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, former hairstylist, and gift shop owner, whose whole world was her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel E. "Danny" Rothman; and her parents, Lee M. and Virginia R. Lloyd. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Davis (Ray), Kyle Harbin (Chris), and a son, Kristopher Rothman (Delinda). She was a loving "Nane" to her grandchildren, Courtney Gabehart (Chris), Alexa Ballard (Ray), Josh Rothman (Lori), Mallory Rothman, Allison Davis, and Isaac Cheatham (Katie); as well as her great grandchildren, Madilyn and Henry Gabehart, Elyssa, Elizabeth, Urijah, Danielle and Jackson Ballard, Lucas and Hailey Rothman. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Armstrong (Barry); a brother, Lanny Lloyd (Diana), and a cousin she loved like a sister, Eleanor Troutman (Gayle); sisters-in-law, Florence Ryan and Juanita Rothman; as well as many nieces, nephews, and others. The family would like to express their gratitude to Paula Alford for her loving support. In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen, and she will be interred with her husband at the Mt. Washington Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or the Norton Cancer Institute.
