Grace (Clan) Grigsby

Grace Grigsby, 99, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Green Meadows Health Care Center.   She was the former Grace Clan, a homemaker, and member of the Mt. Washington United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed quilting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her neighbors.  Grace loved her family, and especially loved watching her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Causby Grigsby; her parents, Oscar and Clara Clan; and four siblings.   Grace is survived by two sons, Bobby (Sue) and Terry Grigsby; daughters-in-law, Theresa Shull and Shelia Grigsby; three grandchildren, Sharon Gravens (Mike), Shannon Grigsby (Sarah), and Lisa Kuczwara (Joe); along with two great grandchildren, Kelsey Flener (Evan) and Joanna Kuczwara.   Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday April 3, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Memorial gifts in Grace's memory are suggested to be made to the Green Meadows Health Care Center Activity Department.
