Louis Ferdinand Jacob Vincentie

Louis Ferdinand Jacob Vincentie, 85, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Baptist Health.  He was a native of Pemelang, Indonesia, a retired employee of Phillip Morris, and an avid bowler.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ferdinand August and Louisa Cecillia Toussant Zannet Vincentie; and siblings, Albert, Onke, Rudolph, Jacoba "Mattie", Margaret, Constance, and an infant sister.  Louis is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janet Vincentie; three children Dawnn Williamson, Dwayne Vincentie, and David Vincentie; a sister, Josephine Kops; brother, Jimmy Koster; four grandchildren, Alexandria Woolley, Jacob Williamson, Makaylah and Baylea Sosh; one great grandson, Andreas Marcell; along with a host of nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of services on Thursday.  Memorial gifts are suggested to the Baptist Health Foundation or the Flower Buds www.theflowerbuds.org.
