I am sure my grandmother is very pleased with the dignity and care given for her final goodbye. The celebration was uplifting and flawless and my family and I will be forever grateful.

Ray Hardin, Jr., 86, of Bardstown, KY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his home. He was a native of Spencer County, KY, a retired employee of the Logan Company, and a member of Nelson County Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Johnson Hardin; a son, James Daniel Hardin; grandson, Andrew Burkhead; brothers, J.T., Randall, and Lewis Hardin; and sisters, Susan Hazelwood, Mary Elizabeth Barnett, and Sarah Lee Hardin. He is survived by four daughters, Brenda Watts, Linda Hicks, Debra Clemens, and Sharon Hardin; Three sons, Larry Ray, Jeffrey DeWayne, and Jospeh Richard Hardin; One brother, David C. Hardin; three sisters, Nannie L. Sanders, Ruby Hedden, and Betty Jane Worner; along with 13 Grandchildren & 31 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1p.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
