My family and friends were please with the exceptional service we received from a very professional and considerate staff. Everything was organized and well presented. I don’t think my mother could have asked for a better service.

Richard D. Cheatham, 75, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019. Richard was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co., where he worked for 35 years, a U. S. Navy veteran, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Cheatham; a daughter, Michelle Revers; four stepchildren, Roger, Rebecca, and Debbie Young, Charlotte Lewis (Donnie); one sister, Jackie Hutchens; a brother, Mickey Cheatham; along with eight grandchildren & five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts are suggested to Mt. Washington Community Ministries.
