Patricia Anne Curtis, 84, of Mt. Washington, returned to the Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was a retired agent for Allstate Insurance Company, and a member of Hebron Lane Church of Christ. Her greatest passions were her family and singing. She was an entertainer at the early age of 2. She sang for the Shepherdsville Music Show and the Lincoln Jamboree. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Kenneth D. Curtis; her parents, Clyde and Lydia Smith Kessinger; her brothers, David and Danny Kessinger; two sisters, Penny Stewart and Betty Wright; grandson, James Curtis; and great grandson, Sullivan High. Patricia is survived by two daughters, Cindy Spears (Mark) and Patricia Drury (Mark); two sons, Vernon and Russell Curtis (Patti); brothers, Gary, Mike, Larry, Terry, Dennis, and Benny Kessinger; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2026 at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday. Memorial gifts in her memory are suggested to be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
