I am sure my grandmother is very pleased with the dignity and care given for her final goodbye. The celebration was uplifting and flawless and my family and I will be forever grateful.

Clarence “Pete” Mullins, 65, of Mt. Washington, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013.
He was a native of Knott County, KY, a retired security officer, a member of Jefferson County Sportsman’s Club, and an Army Vietnam veteran. Pete enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching old movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brax and Juanita Mullins; and a sister, Sadie Goad.
Pete is survived by his wife, Mary Mullins; Two sons, Mitchell “Alan” (Megan) and Matthew “Greg” (Angel) Mullins; And stepchildren, Charles Eric Hawkins (Betty Jo) and Mary Kay Hornback (Josh);One brother, Chris Mullins ( Carol); a sister Betty Knotts; 12 Grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; along with is beloved “dog” Domino.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
