My family and friends were please with the exceptional service we received from a very professional and considerate staff. Everything was organized and well presented. I don’t think my mother could have asked for a better service.

James Lambert Spalding, 83, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Baptist Health. He was a native of Marion County, KY, an Army veteran, a farmer, and a retired employee of General Electric. Lambert was a member of the Mt. Washington Lions Club, the Knights of Columbus, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Adrian and Cordelia Luckett Spalding; and two brothers, Raphael and Donnie Spalding. Lambert is survived by his wife, Rose Spalding; three sons, Wayne (Teresa), Doug (Glenda), and Mike (Susan) Spalding; two brothers, Henry and Terry Spalding; along with eight grandchildren, Jessica, Paul, Travis, Justin, Joey, Kyle, Selena, and Zac; and four great grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Grayson, and Harper. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may visit from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home. Memorial gifts in his memory are suggested to his church.
