I am sure my grandmother is very pleased with the dignity and care given for her final goodbye. The celebration was uplifting and flawless and my family and I will be forever grateful.

Ruby Jean Case, 80, of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Jewish Hospital. She was a native of Bloomfield, KY, a retired employee of General Electric, and a retired beautician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Earl Sweazy; a daughter, Sherry Carey; and two brothers, Gerden and Roger Case. Ruby is survived by three daughters, Tammy Gowen, Theresa Samples, and Pamela Stillwell; two sons, Ed and Glenn Sweazy; two sisters, Barbara Chesser and Margaret Byrd; along with 7 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren & 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home, Mt. Washington. Cremation will follow.
